3D culture embedding for histology. Keeping the loading side up, the chamber was open with a blade (a and b) and the matrix was extracted (c). The matrix was sectioned in 4 fractions (d). The 4 fractions were allocated one above the other in the histology cassette creating a sandwich (e). The culture matrix was included with vertical orientation (f), by this way a longitudinal section of the 4 matrix sheets were allocated on a glass slide (g)
