ELISA results of HEV-IgM performed in serum samples collected from the 114 animals tested negative for HEV-IgG (grey points). The Cut-off value (C.O.) was calculated by adding 0,12 to the mean value of the negative control in the plate. Among the serums tested, those with the rate S/C.O. (Sample OD/Cut Off value) lower than 0.9 were classified as negative and those with the rate S/C.O. higher than 1.1 as positive. The doubtful range is delimited by the bold black lines
