Relative expression of different genes evaluated in this experiment. ADAMTS-5 and IL-1 β were evaluated in cartilage after the termination of the study. No significant difference was observed between samples treated with difference CS groups, for the main effects in this study including Treatment. The relative expression for the genes studied did not present a normal distribution, and data was log transformed to fit the assumption of normality. The raw fold changes related to ITS+IL-1β controls are presented in the graph for ease of interpretation. Results are demonstrated in means and bars represent standard error of the mean. Level of significance used 0.05
