Hub genes correlated to chemotaxis and representative malignant biomarker genes were validated by quantitative PCR. The gene expression levels of (A) CCL19, (B) CXCL12, and (C) C5AR1 between CTVT and MCTVT were consistent with cDNA microarray data. Gene levels of (D) APOC1, a tumour promoter, (E) MMP1, which was overexpressed in various cancers, and (F) KMO, which promoted tumour progression, were significantly increased in MCTVTs compared with CTVTs. All data are presented as mean ± SD and statistical significance was calculated by unpaired t test (*, p < 0.05)
