Detection of DOX and DOXol and persistence in DNA extracted from the liver of mice. DOX and DOXol were detected in one mouse treated acutely with 10 mg/kg of DOX (top and center plot, n = 1). Only DOX was detected in DNA from mice (n = 3) treated chronically with 4 mg/kg/week of DOX for three weeks (bottom plot).
