Ileal sections (b, c, d) from T2, T3, and T4, respectively, showed an increase in the villus (V) height and increased muscle (M) thickness in GLM and oregano EO supplemented groups compared to the control group (a). Goblet cells (arrows) in the PAS-stained ileum (f, g, h) from T2, T3, and T4, respectively, showed decreased goblet cells count in all GLM and oregano EO supplemented groups compared to the control (e). T2, T3, and T4: basal diet supplemented with 0.15 or 0.45 or 0.75% mixture of GLM and EO, respectively.
