Vaccination and challenge strategies. At week 0, 4-week-old piglets were inoculated with attenuated PRRSV vaccine at the indicated dose via an intramuscular injection in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions or with PBS as a mock-vaccination control (red stealth arrow).
