The phylogenetic position of DCH Malaysia within the family Hepadnaviridae. Maximum likelihood phylogeny based on the complete genome sequences of a wide range of vertebrate hepadnaviruses retrieved from the Genbank database. The herpetohepadnaviruses, parahepadnaviruses and metahepadnaviruses were described in Dill et al. [8] and Lauber et al. [7].
