(a) Shannon and (b) Simpson diversity indices calculated on the level of Family taxonomic rank. For all eight pigs the corresponding Shannon and Simpson diversity indices on the level of Family rank were calculated and depicted. The comparison of the microbial diversity on the level of the Family taxonomic level shows the following trend – the most heterogeneous bacteria composition was estimated to be in control group C and the lowest diversities were observed in the group supplemented with probiotic bacteria (B).
