Protein expression of VEGFA (a), VEGFR1 (b) and VEGFR2 (c), measured with Western blotting, in uterine endothelial cells cultured in vitro and stimulated for 24 h with media conditioned by uterine slices from non-adenomyotic uterine tissue (healthy, n = 7) and from adenomyosis in stages 3–4 (adenomyotic). Additionally, uterine slices were treated with E2 or P4 and non-treated control (NT control). Data were normalized against GAPDH. Bars represent the mean ± SEM.
