Phylogenetic relationships among Mycoleptodiscus indicus strains based on nucleotide sequences of the internal transcribed spacer (ITS) region. Phylogenetic tree contains ITS nucleotide sequence from the feline investigated in this study (accession number: MK773899.1) and 33 ITS gene region sequences downloaded from GenBank. Coccidioides immitis, Guignardia spp. and Colletotrichum spp. were included as the outgroup. The phylogenetic trees were inferred using the Maximum Likelihood method based on the Tamura-Nei substitution model predicted by Jmodeltest and constructed by PhyML. The percentage of trees in which the associated taxa clustered together in the bootstrap test (1000 replicates) is shown next to the branches
