Total glycosaminoglycan (GAG) in media during the experiment. Cartilage explants were submitted to IL-1β and treated with different formulations of PL and compared to control (ITS+ILβ). No significant difference was observed for the amount of GAG released into the media during the experiment, between the cartilage samples treated with PL and the stimulated control ITS+ILβ.
