Bacterial cells in the logarithmic phase were subjected to serial dilution and 10 μL of bacterial cultures were in THB plates supplemented with bacitracin at different concentrations (0, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, and 64 μg/mL). c The bacterial survival of wild-type and mutant strains incubated with high bacitracin concentration. The bacterial cells were eliminated with 128 μg/mL bacitracin. We monitored and recorded the bacterial loads incubated after 8 h with 128 μg/mL bacitracin in the logarithmic phase. The CFU values of all mutants was reduced to a greater extent in comparison with the wild-type strain at each hour
