  1. In vitro activity: data are means ± SDs of three independent assays with duplicate samples. Ovicidal and larvicidal activities are expressed as the concentration (μg/mL) of a median lethal dose (ED50 and LD50, respectively; the concentration of a methanolic or aqueous extract that prevents 50% of the eggs from hatching or larvae from developing to the infective L3 stage) using the egg hatch test or larval development test
