Effect of BA on ROS generation in HPS-stimulated piglet monocytes. Cells (0.8 ml, 1.0 × 106 CFU/ml) were treated with 0.5 mM NAC and BA (12.5, 25, 50 or 100 μg/ml) for 2 h and, after 6 h of incubation with HPS (final concentration 1.0 × 106 CFU/ml), were stained by DCFH-DA. The ROS levels in PMNP were determined and analyzed using flow cytometry. All data represent means ± SD of three independent experiments. ## p < 0.01, compared with control group, ** p < 0.01, related to HPS alone
