Weight changes of mice after homologous virus challenge. Mice were challenged intranasally with 0.2 × 105 EID50 of the H3N2 subtype virus strain A/swine/Shandong/3/2005 two weeks after the second immunization. The survival rate, clinical signs and bodyweight of the challenged mice were monitored for 14 days after the challenge. Data are shown as means ± SD. Asterisks indicate statistically significant differences (P < 0.05) between groups
