From: An evaluation of TAZ and YAP crosstalk with TGFβ signalling in canine osteosarcoma suggests involvement of hippo signalling in disease progression

Fig. 6

Effect of TAZ or YAP knockdown plus and minus TGFβ on cell viability of canine OSA cell lines. Graphs depict the fluorescence readings at 530/590 nm when TAZ (a) or YAP (b) was depleted in OVC-cOSA-75, OVC-cOSA-31, and D17 cells, which were stimulated or not with 5 ng/mL TGFβ in the presence (+ Doxo) or absence (−Doxo) of Doxorubicin. Readings were first blank-corrected to fluorescence values obtained for the media only control. Bars depict the average ± SEM from two independent experiments plated in duplicate. Asterisks depict statistical differences as determined by a one-way ANOVA (Kruskal-Wallis test) with Dunn-Sidak correction to identify significant differences relative to control within each, the –Doxo and + Doxo treatment groups; * indicates p < 0.05, ** indicates p < 0.010. TAZ knockdown decreased cell viability in the D17 cell line both in the presence and absence of Doxorubicin. YAP knockdown decreased cell viability in the presence (OVC-cOSA-75, OVC-cOSA-31) and absence (all three cell lines) of Doxorubicin
