As there was no statistically significant difference between the values of the left and right side, the average of both sides is given. Mean mode values are shown as (mean ± SD) for electrode lateral to the centre of the muscle (GML1), for electrode over the centre of the muscle (GML2), and for electrode medial to the centre of the muscle (GML3) at walk and trot during the three data collection days
