Melting curves for PCR products for the specific detection of mollicutes obtained using Botes et al. assay. Positive samples produced a melting peak between 84 and 87 °C. Negative samples did not produce any melting peak. Unspecific reactions produced a melting peak between 82 and 83 °C. Mollicutes DNA control: M. hyorhinis. Non mollicutes DNA control: Staphylococcus aureus
