Results from each day of testing represent the mean of three breaths analysed for each horse. P values were determined by one-way RM-ANOVA. Inspiratory zero to peak (izp) values represent the relative percentage of peak inspiratory flow measured at 25, 50 and 75% of the time from zero to peak flow; inspiratory peak to zero (ipz) values represent the relative percentage of peak inspiratory flow measured at 25, 50 and 75% of the time from peak to zero flow
