Changes in the body weights of BALB/c mice that were infected with CIV or S. pseudintermedius alone, coinfected with both, or exposed to PBS as a control. The percentage of the body weight was calculated relative to the body weights recorded five days post-challenge. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) was performed for the statistical analysis. ***, P < 0.001, indicates a significantly different weight percent for CIV groups compared with CIV/Sp groups. #, P < 0.05, ##, P < 0.01, or ###, P < 0.001, indicates a significantly different weight percent for Sp groups compared with CIV/Sp groups
