(A) Although the different treatments had no significant influence on GnRH content on day 21, the response was significantly up-regulated by the presence of n3/n6 (treatment 3, 4 and 5) on day 35 (***P < 0.001). (B) Treatment 2, 4 and 5 significantly increased FSHR mRNA compared with others treatments on day 21 (+++P < 0.001). (C) Diet with different ratios of n3/n6 PUFAs (treatment 2–5) significantly increased LHR mRNA level on day 21 (+++P < 0.001). The effect of PUFAs was decreased with the duration of treatment on day 35.
