Lane 2: Protein C purified from canine plasma consists of a heavy chain (HC) with three glycosylated forms (α, β, and γ) and a glycosylated light chain (LC). Lane 3: The same preparation shown in lane 2 treated with deglycosylation enzyme mixture. The heavy chain had decreased MW and migrated as a single band (HCd), suggesting CnPC has different glycosylated forms of the same peptide.
