Time-dependent effect of SNP on canine cruciate ligamentocytes. The apoptotic cell number in canine CCL (dark gray square) and □ CaCL cells was measured by flow cytometry. Cells were incubated in medium with 0.5 mM SNP for 6, 12, 18 and 24 h. Values correspond to the mean ± SD from at least three separate experiments of four different cell donors, each performed in triplicates. *, P < 0.05, **, P > 0.01 CCL vs. CaCL at each indicated time.
