Classification was based on SELDI-TOF-MS serum protein profiles from piglets at day five and 19 after inoculation with either PCV2/PPV, PCV2/PRRSV or phosphate buffered saline (controls). Data of both time points were combined for the statistical analysis using 50 preselected protein components. Protein components were selected on their differential expression, using those with the lowest p-values.
