  1. Protein spots were excised from a CBB stained 2-DE gel of SF-PPD (200 μg; 50 μL of 4 μg/μL) and submitted to the Ottawa Institute of Systems Biology, University of Ottawa for MASS-SPEC analysis. In the table, the five most probable candidate proteins as determined by Mascot search results are listed for each submitted spot. Bold text is used to identify the most likely constituent or majority constituent protein for each submitted spot. Presumptive identifications are based on data provided by the Mascot search results and previously performed 2DE analysis of Mycobacterium spp. CFPs [15, 20, 27, 28, 32, 35, 40].
