Group Analysis of auditory fMRI data following stimulation with continuous scanning paradigm. The group analysis of the functional data obtained with sequence 2 in combination with paradigm 2 (continuous stimulation) yielded unilateral activation of the left caudal colliculus (arrow 1), medial geniculate nucleus (arrow 2) and gyrus ectosylvius (arrow 3), which is part of the auditory cortex. These activations are displayed in dorsal (a, b), transverse (c) and sagittal (d) sections. In addition to these activations of the auditory pathways, an activated area is seen at the rostral aspect of the left caudate nucleus (a, arrow 4)
